A Hapag Lloyd Boeing 737-8K5 fitted with winglets departs Germany on a late afternoon flight to Spain. Hapag Lloyd was the first airline to take delivery of the Boeing 737-800 in 1998. The Next-Generation 737 airplanes are capable of cruising to a maximum altitude of 41000 feet, compared to 37000 feet for the 737-300/400/500 models, and 39000 feet for the Airbus A320.
