The De Havilland DHC-8-400 Dash 8Q is basically a DHC-8-300 with an 22ft center fuselage stretch, longer wing center section with larger fuel tanks, modified flaps and control surfaces, strengthened under-carriage and an additional airstair entry door. The turboprop is powered by two Pratt & Whitney PW150 engines, equipped with six-blade props.
