The wide-bodied
Airbus A330 is popular among
charter operators, not only in northern Europe. The
Premiair (today MyTravel Airways) A330 is a -300 series
aircraft, seating more than 400 passengers. Premair
replaced their ageing DC-10-fleet with the modern
fly-by-wire aircraft. Swedish charter airline Novair
used to operate the famous Lockheed L-1011 Tristar on
their long haul flights - today replaced by Airbus
A330-200 aircraft. One of them is seen on the image
above, waiting for departure at the holding position runway
19R.
